  1. What is QKonnekt about and how does it work?

At QKonnekt, we believe that “One personal quality connection can make a difference in your life” and “Its possible”.

QKonnekt is an app designed for people to make in-person connections during wait time / delays at airports. It is a social media app to make out-of-social media connections, in real time.

People have long waits, layovers and delays at the app. When downloaded, the app can be used to make connections with people in the vicinity inside the airport, based on the same interest, share knowledge and opportunities.

  1. Where can I use the QKonnekt app?

Primarily designed to be used at the airport, but the app has a lot of potential to be used at the other locations as well.

  1. What languages does the app support?

Primary language used in the app is english. Maybe in the future, other major languages will be considered.

  1. How to sign-up for a QKonnekt account/ profile?

Instructions:

Ensure the OS on your phone is the latest version

Go to https://www.qkonnekt.com/ on a web browser and

Click the appropriate Google Playstore or Apple App Store links to download the app

  1. How to delete/ close my QKonnekt account?

Option 1: Please email connect@qkonnekt.com. We will ensure that your account is permanently deleted

Option 2: Please log into your account on the QKonnekt app. Click the profile icon and scroll to the bottom of the page to find the “Delete my account” button. Your account will be permanently deleted (if needed we can add a time in there) within 24 hours.

  1. Is QKonnekt free or do I need to pay for a subscription?

QKonnekt is a free app.

  1. How to edit my goal and interest or my profile details?

Instructions: Once you login to the app, on the bottom right corner you can find the button to access your profile. On the profile page, you will have the edit option (shown as an edit pen), and the details on the profile page can be edited.

  1. Why is there phone authentication while I sign-up?

Phone authentication allows us to ensure safety to all our users by ensuring we allow sign-ups for only the authenticated users.  

  1. What do I do if I get locked out of my account, forget my password? How do I reset my password?

When you open the app log-in page, there is a link provided for retrieving your password. Click “Forgot your password?” to retrieve your password.

  1. How do I contact QKonnekt team?

  1. I deleted my account by mistake / I would like to reactivate my account. How do I do that?

Please contact us through the email address provided in the website connect@qkonnekt.com.

  1. How do I report about a user / post?

  1. How do I search for a new connection on the QKonnekt app?

Instructions: Once you are signed in the app, in the bottom menu row, there is a center + button that will let you search for users in the vicinity.

  1. Can I upload photos and videos?

Instructions: A profile picture can be added in the user profile. Other than that, no photos and videos can be uploaded currently.

  1. How to send a message to my contact, privately?

Instructions: When you are signed in the app, you can browse through and connect to any user available in the vicinity by messaging from the post or by visiting the other person’s profile and clicking connect on their profile.

  1. How do I post a public post on the QKonnekt account?

Instructions: Once you are logged in to the app, on the home screen you will find a Add a post ribbon with a + button at the top. Please click that button to post in public.

  1. What happens after the connection I requested to connect accepts the invitation?

Instructions: Once the other person accepts the invitation, both sides will be able to send instant private messages to each other. The idea is to connect on the app on private messaging and if comfortable, make plans to meet in person.

Instructions: Once you accept the invitation, both sides will be able to send instant private messages to each other. The idea is to connect on the app on private messaging and if comfortable, make plans to meet in person.
